PresidentUnder Mr. Bogart's twenty years of leadership, Bogart Construction has become recognized for expertise and excellence in all aspects of retail construction and successfully capturing the unique vision of retail clients. Mr. Bogart and the company created a philosophy of “On Time Completion - Zero Punch Turn,” assuring the client-driven goals are achieved. In addition, the company prides itself on “Building Relationships That Last,” and their repeat clients attest to this dedication.
Since the start of his operations in 1991 as a small tenant improvement specialist, the company has been licensed or registered in 38 states and has constructed 765 high-end retail establishments. Among the list of recognized retailers that Bogart Construction, Inc., counts as clients are Urban Outfitters, Limited Brands, GAP, BCBG, Express, H&M, Vans, Golden Spoon and Sur La Table.
Mr. Bogart has served on the Board of the CBC YMCA and San Clemente High School Grad Night, and is an active supporter of community, civic and industry organizations including Vistage and AYSO Soccer. The Bogart family includes Brad and Megan, his wife of 22 years and their 2 daughters, Taylor and Riley. Originally a native of Oklahoma where he earned his degree at the University of Oklahoma, Brad and his family now reside in San Clemente, California.

Todd McConnell,
Director of OperationsAs Director of Operations, Mr. McConnell oversees Bogart Construction's project management and estimating departments. He is committed to the company's vision, ensuring that his team focuses on guaranteeing “On Time Completion – Zero Punch Turn,” enforcing safe job sites and providing quality assurance to all clients.
Since 2000, Mr. McConnell has contributed to company growth, fostering longstanding relationships with recognized retailers such as Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Express, and Bath & Body Works. His accomplishments include building over 100 retail stores, including more than 20 Urban Outfitters stores, most notably the de-construction and restoration of Space 15 Twenty, a retail center in Hollywood, California. He also brings 14 years of ground up construction experience to the organization from Flintco and Snyder Langston, with projects including distribution warehouse, offices, restaurants, schools, fire stations, University facilities and US Post Office buildings.
Mr. McConnell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science from the University of Oklahoma. His father owned a lumberyard which sparked his passion for construction at an early age. He resides in Mission Viejo with his wife and three kids, and enjoys the outdoors and camping.

David Lawson,
Director of Business DevelopmentMr. Lawson's unique experiences working on both sides of the business as a retail client and as a general contractor give him a deeper understanding of Bogart Construction's customers. On the retail side he started as Facilities Manager was promoted to Project Manager and then Director of Construction. As Director of Construction for Charlotte Russe, Inc., he led the expansion of the retailer’s market presence from 30 stores to over 300.
Combining his broad background, he joined Bogart Construction in 2007 as a Project Manager. He has completed 30 retail stores and has helped the company acquire projects for Victoria's Secret, BCBG, GAP and H&M. In his current role as Director of Business Development, Mr. Lawson's responsibilities include cultivating and maintaining client relationships, negotiating contracts, and staying current with the economy and industry trends.
Mr. Lawson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Native of southern California, he enjoys outdoor activities, triathlons and traveling. The first international trip he plans with his wife is to Europe.

Mark Tavernier,
ControllerMr. Tavernier has been with Bogart Construction since 2004 and currently serves as the company's Controller. Prior to joining Bogart Construction, he worked as a Construction Accounting Analyst, Controller and Staff Tax Account at small and large firms and was also the CFO and Owner of his company The Bargain Exchange. Mr. Tavernier has over 30 years of financial management experience and is a Certified Public Accountant.
He is responsible for a host of administrative functions including streamlining accounting processes and creating monthly financial statements that increase predictability of the company's financial status. He successfully transitioned the company from a cash basis to accrual accounting. To promote efficiencies, Mr. Tavernier implemented new accounting technology that has cut the Project Accountants' workload in half while doubling Bogart Construction's sales.
Mr. Tavernier attended Brigham Young University – Provo, Utah, and received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He obtained a Master of Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton. Married almost 30 years, he and his wife enjoy traveling internationally with their family. They have four children and reside in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Daniel Stone,
Project ManagerMr. Stone is responsive and highly motivated, ensuring his clients great quality retail stores at the best possible value. Attentive to big-picture goals, Mr. Stone is dedicated to also grasping the crucial details of a project to mitigate potential delays and turn over on-time, zero-punch stores. With proven capabilities as a Project Manager, he is responsible for helping add new retailers Fresh & Easy, Metro PCS, Pacific Sunwear and The WATT Companies to the Bogart Construction portfolio.
Prior to joining the company in 2008, Mr. Stone spent four years in Class A professional and medical office development and ground up construction. He gained the practical skills to build relationships, earning the trust of clients, vendors and colleagues. He has developed a loyal customer base who continues to choose Bogart Construction for their retail construction projects.
Mr. Stone attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing from Chapman University. He was born and raised in Newport Beach, California where he currently lives. Water sports, fishing, snowboarding and golf are his favorite activities.

Noel Amand,
Project ManagerMr. Amand is a results-oriented leader with a reliable reputation in the retail construction industry. Clients such as Urban Outfitters and Sur La Table have sought him out to manage their projects. He has also managed projects for clients such as Sephora, Hollister, Bassett Furniture, Thomasville Furniture, Chico's, White House Black Market, Clark's, Lucky Brand, Cole Haan, Old Navy, GAP and Anthropologie.
Driven to exceed customer expectations, he utilizes 10 years of industry expertise to aid Bogart Construction in developing project procedures that facilitate increased client interaction and repeat business. He started at Fisher Development then moved on to head the West Coast Division at Scott Thomas Construction, opening more than 100 Chico’s retail stores nationwide that earned him Chico’s Project Manager of the Year award.
Mr. Amand earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Roger Williams University. He also received an Associate of Science degree in Construction Management. He and his wife have a daughter and reside in Sonoma, California. His hobbies include making wine and raising two dogs, four chickens, one cat and eventually some goats.

Rachel Andrew,
Director of MarketingAs Director of Marketing, Ms. Andrew recently gave a facelift to Bogart Construction's website so it's more vibrant and user-friendly, captivating visitors to enter and find information about the company’s history and vision. She is responsible for all aspects of strategic marketing, including brand management, strategy and positioning, public relations, advertising, and direct and interactive marketing programs.
In 2005, Ms. Andrew began her career in the company's accounting department. Transitioning into project coordination and then marketing, she added 10 new high-profile clients to the company roster such as Limited Brands and GAP, which earned her a promotion as the Director of Marketing. She has established a consistent marketing strategy that has branded Bogart Construction as the general contractor known industry-wide for “On Time Completion – Zero Punch Turn.”
Ms. Andrew graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, earning a Bachelor of Science dual degree in History of Public Policy and Chemistry. She enjoys baking, and dabbling in photography and graphic design. She and her husband are the parents of two pugs Stella and Liz.
